Gosh – I know you know I meant book worm however my lovely granddaughter has a strong desire to devour books!!! She wanted to check out an encyclopedia LOL!!! Instead we ended up with 8 books!!! Our day trip began at the car wash!!! Gosh for only 20 buckaroos you get an amazingly clean in and out job plus you get popcorn and coffee!!! The children’s library in downtown Portland is so groovy – you can feel the tremendous knowledge that is housed in these walls just as you walk in. Everyone was so helpful – Tammy at the information desk made LeiLani feel so welcome!!! And Joe was so groovy – any female with a boys name has got to be pretty wonderful!!! We went across the street to the Goodwill on 10th Street – talk about materialistic eye candy filled with Gucci bags and items that sparkle!!! And with it being incredibly hot we had to stop at the water area – my shoes came off in a flash as I joined my intelligent grandchild puddle jump!!! I learned all about the proper care of puppies on the Max ride back as I read an entire book…LeiLani agreed to begin training her little Gigi when she returns from visiting her dad! On the was the Max po pos came on board and without being asked LeiLani flashed our All Day Passes to which she was given a Jr. Crime Stopper sticker!!! We finally made it back but we had one more photo where she peeked from under the stroller window – Her mama thought she looked like she was in a plastic bag – I said she looked like an astronaut and LeiLani said she looked like she was under water!!! LOL I liked LeiLani’s perspective!!!
