What’s in your little box???

The end of a new beginning!

… what follows is a continuation of a 3-page free write -Gosh – one more reason to embrace the pain and fears that go with ending an old beginning!

As Pema Chodron in When Things Fall Apart – Every day the sun goes down it is the end of a new day.  Every day we reach our 24th hour it is the ending that comes with a gift of a new start.

Today is another gift!  Today is full of possibilities – a box full of treasures.  It is full of what we choose!  And if we have arrived and embraced the decision to include disappointments, mistakes and failures in the definition of success then only beautiful treasures can be found in our little box.

What color would your sacred box be?  Would there be shiny glitter representing the colorful celebration of this one 24 hour day ahead of us?  Would it be a strong box heavy and solid to hold torrential torrents of tears brought forth by both our joys and our sorrows?  Would it contain a grateful heart for the prior new beginnings as well as the ends that open us up and ready us for the next new beginning???

Come what may – may we not forget from where we come and may from where we come help us evolve into a sweeter version of who we were!!!
